When my blues of September is told on a dress

Hello

In my previous article I told you that September was a bit complicated for me.

I had a blues that I still feel but I try to get out of this state.

When things are hard to unravel I need to get rid of them through art and that’s what I did on this dress.

It’s Pavlovian at home to work like this.

By this I mean to transcribe plastically, mechanically and instinctively an emotion, a state of being and a state of soul.

The feeling of fear is something that takes possession of you in small touches and grows suddenly.

So that’s what’s transcribed on that dress. A trick that invades you like a nebula and encircles you in small touches.

What is interesting in the creation is to face things that upset you internally and to make them emerge by turning them into something positive and this is what I have tried once again to do here.

Jordane wanted a casual dress with a color that she did not wear often. Blue is one of those colors that she wears little but she likes.

She bought the fabric Milano blue and I made this dress to the cut a little egg on the edges.

There was something missing in the dress that would make it « Nsqolienne » so I let my unconscious talk and what was lurking in the shade was naturally expressed.

My hand began to transcribe on the tissue this feeling of being attacked by my neuroses.

The result gives the impression that the fabric is self-phagocite which creates a shade of blue that confers a new dimension to the dress.

Personally I like the final rendering and thankfully that Jordane too. Well if it had not been the case I would have done something else.

I proposed to Jordane to photograph it for this article in a vegetal setting, a place that I have already spoken about and which I like very much, an old foundry transformed into a mini tropical garden.

As everything is green in this place I knew that it would bring something to the dress because they are complementary colors.

The look remains minimal and in the same color tone to allow the dress to exist and focus attention on it as a strong piece.

The comfortable dimension is necessarily more accentuated without the belt but I still wanted to bring the masculine touch that I like so much in my outfits with my woolen boater hat from Zara.

The belt confers more femininity to the overall look of the waist marking in addition to the blue hat-turban that brings a bit of majesty to the Sheikha Mozah which is one of my fashion icons.
