Hellooooo!
This week the blog dresses in pink and for me it is a challenge because I wear little and I am not necessarily fan in addition to being a color that I do not work particularly.
Actually I only like two kinds of roses, pastel pink (even very very pastel) and fuchsia, I would even say fluo.
When I saw this fabric whose pink did not suit me really I wanted to work on it and to bring nuances to it because I thought it could be interesting and it was the case when I saw the result.
It’s a pink milano on which I made a graphic print in order to give it something more interesting and more modern without falling into the cliché of the barbie girl.
The set consists of a pink top and a sheath skirt and I wanted to create the illusion that it was a dress.
It’s the same fabric that I completely rubbed off for the top in the continuity of the pattern of the bottom story to bring a coherence to the whole.
For the short story this outfit no longer exists. As the other would say « she was broke in full glory ».
I sewed the whole for myself and I didn’t even have the possibility to wear it because I sent it to Paris (with other creations) in order to lend them to a blogger who never received because his parcel was stolen either by Collissimo or by his neighbors.
I feel an immense bitterness because there were several unique pieces designed by me that asked me a looooooooot of work.
I know there is more serious in life but I had trouble digesting it and to tell the truth I still have not digested it. Short!
My week in pink begins with this minimal set worn by Jordane.
I didn’t want to accessorize so I just added to this outfit a brand bag Parfois.
For the bottom there was a pair of opaque burgundy tights and boots of Bonprix brand but I didn’t like the result so I decided to spare you (as well as myself) the rendering.
