Orange is the new Orange II

When her dress is chameleon with dripping

Hello everyone!

There are some weeks I wrote an article titled Orange is the new orange on this dress.

The title was referring to that bloggers have pulled the rope of the title of the series Orange is the new black and ….

If ever you haven’t read and you want to know what I mean it’s here. Picture by Nafissath Abdoulaye

I come back today with the same dress I changed but I wanted to show you the wear simply by Jordane before processing.

So I present below in its simple version small ocher dress slightly orange but with a slightly beveled cut.
For that rendering have the character I accessorized minimally but with a bit of originality that I let you discover.

Now I present the new version on which there was a small big) change as you can see.

Jordane loved her dress in plain version but she loves even printed because it allows him to cover his small complex forcing the viewer to focus on the details of her outfit instead of the details of her body.

As she likes my work dripping on my paintings and my clothes I proposed to make the same technique on the dress and as you can imagine she was more enthusiastic.

No sooner said than done and heeeeeeere’s the result that made Jordane hysterical happiness.

I must say I regret a little this transformation because since it became one of piece it wear all the time and I’m on the verge of rob her and hide for a year.

I will not do it Jordane because you’ll know it’s me but know that you tempt me. I also know that even reading these lines you will continue nonetheless to wear this dress all the time as I already said. :)

The first part of the chameleon dress is simple in association because I made in ocher shades so that the dress is the strong piece comes out well. The decor is also there to reveal a little the dress as you‘d expect.

This version is the one that wears Jordane daily.

The second version is more primed and I chose to associate parts and accessories that will decide a little more like my beige vest I wear constantly and I love the shape and color.

It was bought 2 years ago, at Zara and I never or almost never separates me because sometimes I’m constrained and forced to lend it at two-invasive girls that you know (follow my eyes to the right …)Pictures by Nafissath Abdoulaye Avril 2015

This man’s hat is also one of the things I often wear and I thought about the dress that brought something interesting, original and unexpected to the holding to break up the very girly side.
Jewelry accessories I remained in the same range of tones, gold color, so it does not look like a disco ball and there was not too much to see.

In all my looks I like putting an object that brings texture to the whole, it is modern and timeless and I think it’s the case of my beige bag bought years ago at Zara and that I loooove.

The shoes come from Bonprix in the current collection and adds a touch a little « glam » to all.

So here is the first part of the orange dress changed on Jordane.

Now I present on Fay as it always seems interesting to show the same garment in two different morphologies.

On Fay the loose effect is immediate insofar the dress is a size 50/52 (that of Jordane) and Fay oscillates between 38 and 44.

Yes I know that the range is wide but it really is the case according to the cut and fabric.

For dresses as she likes loose things, it takes an M or L or even XL.

With Fay, we break the color immediately with black and I wanted to find this side a little rock and « cool » that characterizes her.
So no debate, black leather jacket and fringed boots which is the current trend.

Breaking this way gives character to the outfit and I find it very modern, in spirit of the times.

For me the résulat is original and daring and my opinion is that fashion is daring to say things to oneself without being ridiculous. After the ridiculous notion is subjective

So here is
how a simple solid dress was transformed with a little imagination to give him a little more character.

I go but I‘ll be back soon with perhaps a contest. Stay tuuuuuuuuned………

I kiss you. Nafissath.
