Less is more, minimal or nothing III

A bit of burgundy

Hello everybody.

The blog is dressed in burgundy to start the week.

First I hope you’re wearing very well.

Today I propose 3 looks with only one base, a burgundy pencil skirt.

I don’t really know if the burgundy is the color trend of the moment and honestly it does not interest me because I refuse to give in to the idea of wearing (or not wearing) a color pretext that it is trendy or not.

There are colors that are part of my palette that you always see in my creations and the burgundy is one because I love it.

The photo series presented here was taken in 2014 as article the art and material seen lately.Pictures by Nafissath Abdoulaye

Initially I just wanted to photograph the outfit burgundy below, but in part my momentum and my desire to always create multiple styles starting from the same base I logically created two versions of possible looks with this skirt.

I begin the presentations with the first outfit, it is very minimal.

The top is asymmetrical, to make a slight « deconstruction«  to all and a modern touch through cutting.

To finish the look, I tried several accessories that I find interesting with this version because they are either in the continuity which gives an clean lines such as with the burgundy bag or in the gap which we are obliged to take part or not to love the result as in the version with my brown bag 70s.

I also wanted to try the combination with a jeans pouch to break up the monochrome side.

Of course I put the emphasis on size in order to give the silhouette of Jordane even more « vamp » attitude.

The second version is more rock while remaining feminine

and accessorizing ends all bringing this touch a little rock with the belt and bag. Black, metal, silver that always gives a rock dimension to an outfit.

Finally the 3rd version is definitely the one that I personally have preferred.

I loooooooove the white, burgundy and black so I could not resist the urge to make this look.

This is a very minimal outfit that mixes a lot of things I like.

The lace that always gives a romantic side and almost retro and that’s what I loved in this top Jordane that bought it 2 years ago from H & M.

The velvet texture that brings something a little chic due to fine black belt and that can make a cute side to all and it is also due to the way it has been since I played with the length creating a loop that creates the illusion of a small bow tie.

To close the whole, I used this leather bag 30s/40s bought in a garage sale that I like enormously.

On this outfit vintage bag takes a modern and contemporary dimension.

This look is exactly what I like in fashion, a trip several times while ensuring that the rendering is obvious and especially that it will be timeless.
